To all customers of Heritage Springs Sewer Works, Inc.:
Please be advised that Heritage Springs sold its sewer system in the Town of Milton to the Saratoga County Sewer District No. 1 (“SCSD”) on November 21, 2025. The SCSD now owns the sewer system and is responsible for its maintenance and billing. Any issues with your sewer service should be addressed directly to the SCSD @ (518)664-7396.
Note that this sale of the sewer system does not involve or affect the water system owned and operated by Heritage Springs WaterWorks, Inc., which is a separate entity.
Heritage Springs Water Works, Inc. is a private utility providing drinking water to approximately 1,800 customers in the Town of Milton, NY. Our water source is withdrawn from six groundwater wells at three locations in the Town of Milton. Groundwater is pumped from the wells and treated with sodium hypochlorite as required by the New York State Department of Health. The Department of Health routinely tests our water; bacteria testing is conducted on a monthly basis with other contaminants tested as required.
